It depends on what package you choose, but somewhere between 20-40 fully edited digital images. I always choose quality rather than quantity so rest assure that each photo will be top notch!

Your will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within a maximum of 3 weeks (sometimes less depending on the season). You can download all the photos from the gallery but also share them, choose your favorites, and also order prints!

For girls: hair, makeup and nails should be done prior to arrival. Professional makeup is recommended for the best look on camera.

For boys: hair should be styled and facial hair should be trimmed/manicured. If you plan to get a haircut sometimes getting it a week or two before the photoshoot is best so that It has a more natural look.

For both: Water, snacks and your favorite music!

Most yearbook deadlines are in November so I highly recommend getting them done before then. If you have already done your yearbook photo, then it's not really necessary to worry about that deadline. Choosing a day during the spring or fall will provide for the best temperatures since summers do get very hot and we will be outside.

It is also important to think about the time of day. Taking pictures at high noon is never very flattering due to the angle of the sun. I have found that starting a couple hours after noon and working our way into the evening light provides for the best lighting conditions over the course of a multi hour photoshoot.

The more the merrier! Hats, glasses, jackets, necklaces, earrings, scarfs, etc. If you have any special keepsakes or family heirlooms that you'd like to include please bring those as well. If you have something not listed here and have a creative idea for it, that's fantastic too!

Keep in mind that we may be taking pictures during the summer and winter items like jackets, scarfs, and beanies might not make sense, but they will still make for great props. The opposite is true, too. We may be photographing during the winter and items like tank tops, dresses and short sleeves might not make sense, but will still make for great photos.

If you decide to do a sports look for one of your wardrobe changes makes sure you bring the whole outfit head to toe, as well as any balls, gloves, helmets, etc.

Yes! All images selected as final images will have basic blemish removal already done to them at no additional cost. If there are specific retouching requests beyond that, those will be quoted on an individual basis.

I'm based in Redding, CA and yes I love to travel! If you want me to photograph your portraits, it will require a travel fee, depending on where it takes place. Please contact me for a quote.
